APH Connect Center's mission is to empower people toward greater independence and lifelong success by providing curated information and resources to assist children, parents, job seekers, adults, and older people who are blind or visually impaired. Resources available include:
VisionAware is a free, easy-to-use informational service for adults with vision loss, their families, caregivers, healthcare providers, and social service professionals.
FamilyConnect is a service offered for the Blind (APH) to give parents and other family members of children who are blind or low vision–and professionals who work with them–a supportive place for sharing and finding resources on raising their children from birth to adulthood.
CareerConnect is an employment information resource offered by the American Printing House for the Blind for job seekers who are blind or visually impaired. CareerConnect provides employment information, career exploration tools, and job seeking guidance for individuals with vision loss and the professionals who work with them.
